Earle B. Dolinger Obituary

Earle B. Dolinger, 81, of Swatara Twp, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, in his home.

Born March 25, 1925, he was a Navy Veteran of World War II, Pacific Theatre, and retired from CCNB. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, the American Legion WM.H. Nauss, Post 143, New Cumberland, and a member of the K of C council 869.

He was preceded in death by his son Edward; his parents, William and Blanch Dolinger; his sister, Wave Paisley; and his brothers, Richard and Bryan.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loretta Hylan Dolinger; his sons, Michael, and his wife, Linda of Duncannon; Richard and his wife Arlene of Harrisburg; sisters Ruth Paisley, Mary Christy, Lavonne Dominnick, Jessie Walker, Jean Hancock and her husband John; his brother Raymond Dolinger and his wife Emerald; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2006, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Catherine Laboure Parish, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111; or to AseraCare Hospice, 75 South Houcks Rd, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
